When it comes to schoolwork, children are severely hampered by the fact that no one at home speaks English (or at least well enough, or the kind of English that they need) and resources at school are limited to teachers (with their own English language limitations) and textbooks.
Can you help?
We are trying to get for Paleng library, some appropriate, child-friendly, second-language-speakers-friendly dictionaries. But these are far from easy to find. The best we have found so far is the Oxford Children’s Colour Dictionary (Oxford University Press 2014), so if you know of anyone who could help us get as many copies as many as possible, Please do contact us.
