A big thank you to Lauren Harvey in Australia for the donation of a batch of books in braille. This means that our blind child, Daniel, can now read books and take them home just like any other child from Paleng. This is so exciting for him! He is an amazing fluent reader in English. Here he is sitting with his big sister reading the new books, and taking his own book home in his book bag.
We had a very welcome new comer to our library, Daniel, who has been blind since very early childhood. He comes with his big sister to the library when he is home for the holidays from his school in Maseru. Here he is playing with cars, like all the other boys, his all time favourite toy! If anyone knows where we can get children's books in braille, PLEASE let us know.
